Use only your scissors as shaving these breeds will result in the hair no growing back, or growing back uneven and patchy. Simply trim down the coat so no stray hairs emerge from the body. You want the coat to be slick in appearce all over. Remember to back brush the feet and trim the toe hairs! The hind quarters may be extensively cut down short for daily grooming convience to avoid bathroom reisidue on the hair.
